a beautiful day
today was the kind of day people think of when they say "tomorrow will be a better day" cos it just doesnt get much better than this :) after the stresses of last night, a good long sleep followed by slacking around for a few hours till i couldnt help but notice just how wonderful the sky looked and though a big part of me was really lazy and saying i can enjoy the weather frm my room, the better part of me finally won and i ventured out with my favourite twins and boy am i glad i did so! it was really really one of the most glorious days i have experienced, and with the clear and gorgeous sky and the nice cool wind and the calm seas lapping gently, even though it was kinda crowded, everyone was just so relaxed and happy to be there :) best sight of the day: bubbles being blown against a backdrop of a grassy patch leading to the sea, and a forest of poles with sails flapping merrily on them. worst sight of the day: construction sight where a luxuriant golf course used to be, reminding all and sundry that it is impossible to escape frm construction on this island. all in all a really great time and i kept scolding myself for being too lazy to go off earlier cos i had to rush back for ah moi's bdae dinner haha. nvm nvm nxt time ill be less lazy i hope! anyway, i realised tt dusk is the best time of the day for me: all the beauty of the morning and none of the sleepiness :)

hmm so anyway last night was... interesting (as stef put it) haha. but seriously, tho alot of things happened (eg. car falling into drain etc), i think we learned alot from it, and by God's grace, tho the start was less than stellar, i think it ended on a pretty good note and everyone seemed qt happy so thats good :) so tho i was stressed out of my mind, im glad that it went the way it did so we have lots to take back and learn from! yerrrps. and it reminded me again why darren is one of the people in the world i most look up to, he is really someone who is calm under pressure and when he is not happy with the way things are going, he is able to think of something new on the spot. really glad that i have him to show me how to be a good leader!
dons party on fri was a blast too haha. sims came my hse to bake cake for dons (which unfortunately got forgotten!boohoo) and we went in with it and the surprise party to surprise him! heh. in the end we played drinking games till like 5 and i realised yet again what a lousy drinker i am! haha kept falling asleep everywhere (dons bed is REALLY NICE!) talked to some interesting people (meningitis man) haha which amused me alot. hope you like ur watch!
